1 OWNER - FACTORY RESTORATION.

Chassis N.: WAUZZZ85ZEA905144
Colour: Black
Interior: Black leather

Exceptional single owner car with only 33,800 km from new and 12,000 km from total factory restoration completed in 2001.
This quattro Sport is number 144 of only 214 ever built (of which only 164 were sold to privates, the others were used for promotion of the brand, development prototypes or as a base for race cars).
This car was delivered new to France to a preeminent car collector, who drove it 21,000 Km until 2004. Then he sent the car back to quattro GmbH in order to complete an extensive restoration and to convert it from Blue to Black. He also ordered very particular options: full leather interior, including dashboard, Alcantara roof panel, high quality hi-fi and supplementary Sablet harnesses which are fully homologated (with specific fixation clips) and on top of it air condition. The engine was totally rebuilt and upgraded to 350 BHP and the brakes are RS6. A second set of wheels for road use was supplied, and a third set of racing wheels (Both unused). The original steering wheel is also available with the car.
Please refer to the pictures showing the invoice he paid at this time for this restoration, they speak for themselves. 434,000 DM = 222,000 Euros!
Full documentation is available including maintenance booklet (evidently in the name of its current owner) as well as its French registration.
Due to the mounted large brake disks, the original wheels do no longer fit on the car. The currently fitted rims are the only ones Audi found, which exactly respect the original dimensions, with the exception of a larger diameter (17 inches instead of 16). But the best can’t be described: the pleasure you have driving this car! It’s superior to all serial Quattro Sport (which though are the very best to drive out of all serial 200 homologation cars of the group B). This is truly a transformed car, which drives like a new model, very sophisticated. This is far from the cars serving for the group B homologation, with a low quality finishing compared to this excellent Audi.
This is very certainly one of the first recent and truly upscale Audi Quattro, the emblematic model which served as a base for the complete line of recent Quattro’s and helped Audi to become the leading constructor worldwide.
A monumental car that you should not miss, now available in Paris.

I thought it was one of the two black Audi Sport Quattro's, but it wasn't...
Because those two are from Piëch and Röhrl.
