To my fellow Rs/6 mates, great event for charity takes place at Oreilly Raceway Park on Indys Westside. I know of a couple of you that live here or in the Midwest.
$80 that goes to Rileys Childrens Hospital gets you:
Autocross
Slalom
Drag Strip
Car Show
Drifting on the Oval
RallyX new this year, they provide gutted/caged subura rs cars you drive on a grass mud course
The cars are divided into classes based upon modifications, I have chipped my beast so most likely will be in the C class. Classes are f-top gun. Lots of evos and subura jacked up that win their classes every year, talking about 10 second drag strip passes. This year I have seen amg black series heavily modified in top gun. A few amg C series, m3 in my class. I have won the drag strip event in my class last few years. This event started out very poorly run but has grown up over the years. A lot of fun pushing the beast through the autocross event. I have finished in the top 25 cars when competing.
