So i watch a couple off clips off the Golf R as i consider it to might be my next car.

And i saw this clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dq2c3NvoWyg what a sad thing to see its seems impossible to get the car sideways because you can't switch the damn ESP & Traction control off.:noshake:

But then i saw this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l7VCdiDfgfE&NR=1 and they get the R sideways with no problem.:hahahehe:

Whats the secret here to turn the damn things off?
Some special button combination or the crude way pulling some fuse which i don't feel suitable for a new car!?

I want to turn them off if i go to a racetrack or do some drifting on the ice in the winter or just driving hard on some twisty roads.
I heard you can't turn the systems off completly on the Audi S3 and TTS either which to me is just crappy.

I saw spikes on both the VW R and the bike... so wouldn't that make it more difficult to drift?

In the begining when he drive on the snowy forrest road there are no spiked tires on.
And there are no problem to drift with spiked tires anyway ,spiked tires don't make the car super grippy on snow and ice not even on 4wd cars.

I don't understand german so much but im pretty sure they say that the ESP can't be turned off completly on the R but you could on Golf R32 model.
Somebody who knows german maybe can translate?
