Lexus knows this as well!
"Lexus has created a unique sales model for the LF-A in the United States; units are only available for lease with an option to buy the car after the 24-month lease period is over."

400K? Deep six that. I'd take a Mclaren MP4 and donate the rest to charity.

I watched some speed tv show a while back and they took a 2010 gtr vs LFA from a tree 3 runs, slalom, etc...GTR was tenths of sec behind.....if I went Japanese GTR would be my bet....LFA is exclusive, but a fool and his $$$$

I'd take a Mclaren MP4, get a GTR, full insurance for 5 years and THEN donate the rest to charity. ;)

I'd rather scrimp and save another $60k and get a 599 GTO.
That isn't to say the Lexus isn't a brilliant piece of engineering, though. Did you see the video of its bespoke carbon-fiber loom? The R&D that went into that car is mind-boggling.

i am pretty excited for that i just read in one article that Toyota Motor Corp., the world's third-largest automaker, plans to use gasoline-electric hybrid engines in all vehicles by 2012 to increase fuel efficiency and reduce tailpipe and toyota lug nuts emissions. looking forward for that.
