I think Audi makes some very sophisticated and technically savy commercials. I mean they win awards for them, but Audi seems to be missing something. Where is the commercial (I guess you could say the Ur-commercial) that speaks to the unique passion and feeling that Audi owners have in owning their Audis. Heck, we give our Audis human qualities! Audi is missing a very big component of its brand culture here. Someone should let them know - just do a commericial that speaks to the "joy of owning and driving an Audi". Do it from the Audi enthusiast's perspective. Let see some emotion added to Audi's advertising. It is not all about technology. That does not explain why we keeping going back and buying Audi, why we have clubs, why we blog about them, why we always turn around to look at them after we park them and walk off, and so forth.

^^ well said. What makes a RS6 owner pack up his car and ramble off for a 6hr drive to spend the weekend running around the hills and mountains of California with other said RS6 owners?

Tell the story behind the wheel. It always wins.

The first time I drove a RS6 was the day I stopped looking for the 911TT. End of story.
