Hi folks. Just thought I would let you know I picked up a Daytona Grey with one with 57k In immaculate condition in and out. I bought it at Sewickleycars in Pittsburgh for $28,900. That's a top dollar price I guess but I am amazed at how a 7 year old car could be so pristine. Its like almost new. I would like to take advantage of Eurocharged Performance Group flash deal for $499.00 before it runs out. My question is for you few guys that have done it, what's your thoughts? Is a safe flash? Do all the safety measures remain in tact. I have never heard of these people before. And if you are wondering why I call myself 'Elevens' Its because I hope after a few simple mods I will be able to run in the 11sec bracket. Thanks in advance.

BUT, I was looking at that one also on my short list of cars... until the one I bought came available local to me.
From what SAF, Dhall1, Safe4now say - the Eurocharged flash is pretty good. The flash would be a great immediate upgrade!

I am still getting used to the "Unlimited POWER!!" (star wars sith reference) and once/if that ever wears off, that Flash will be the next goodie!

did your dealer offer an aftermarket warranty? Should have...

If not, www.prizm.net (aka Protective )and it is BEST to call them and give them local zip codes of where you are (have about 5 or more) as they don't know the areas and their database is based on Zip Codes.

Thru Protective, you will pay a one-time premium of $300 for AWD/Turbo.
I selected the Supreme coverage for 3yr/36k miles @ $2800 (due to low mileage) and a $200 deductable and direct payment/no pre-pay with reimbursement.

My warranty is called PVP premiere and it's backed by the same insurance company that Ben916 warranty is through(Lyndon property insurance or something similar). My local Prizm dealer wanted to rip me off and wouldnt budge at all on the price so I found a warranty else where which ended up being exactly the same as the Prizm, just a different name. I shopped around and got about 15 quotes before I got my warranty. Its not a platinum/bumper to bumper coverage due to my car being over 55k miles, but it covers all the big ticket items. 4yr/48k miles for $3155 and $100 deductible. Anyways, if you want to know where I got my warranty just PM me and I can get the details to you. Have fun enjoying your new beast!

Two words: Valentine One.

This little black box has saved me from 2 (two) jailspeed tickets, literally saved me, for sure. Before this car I drove an e46 M3 and a 1.8t VW that runs 12's (which I still have)... never worried that much about tickets, had a passport 9800 that I didn't bother to turn on all the time.

This car is different. I've had mine for a month, and I still can't stop sticking my foot in it... So effortless. I hit 145 the first time I drove it, I thought I was going maybe 110.

Believe me I had my V1 and Navigon GPS with me. Valentine 1 Hans down the best radar locator out there. The Navigon was good not only in getting me home but continually warning me when ever I exceeded the posted speed limit by 10 mph. Between the two it resulted in a safe ticket free journey home, which was about 20hrs with a 2hr nap.

I hate too much air between tires and fender lip. I have H&R coilovers on my 6spd A6 2.7T and could not be any happier with them. Its looks like it may be a problem getting them for my RS6 though. Amen to that. my 1.8t is low low cause it only comes out at night, my range rover is HIGH HIGH. My rs6 is somewhere in between. If I was in FLA I would drop it 50mm.
I miss the glass roads of the south, IL roads are such shite. My friend shattered, SHATTERED a rim on his 2010 S4 a couple weeks ago. Rolled into a deep chicago pothole in the cold and his OEM rim broke into pieces and landed his car on the brake disc. OUCH.

You just have to make sure you find a shop that knows how to install the H&R springs properly with the DRC. My car came with them and it's not too low at all. I cant remember, But i believe it's 1.4" drop in the front and 1" for the rear.

I would think it so....void the DRC warranty that is. But if an owner is bound and determined to lower the car....its the H/R springs or a full coilover kit. IF the H/R springs somehow ruin the DRC...then you could always go coilover.

Wierd thing about my H&R springs is that they were purchased from the dealer and installed by the dealer while the car was under CPO. Probably not an issue since they were installed during the DRC recall anyways. I just wasn't aware of dealers selling/installing aftermarket parts like that. None local to me would and I'm pretty positive about that from previous vehicles.

hate to tell you this holmes, but there is NO WAY you will run 11's with the euro tune, or any other for that matter without some other mod. this car is big and fat and loses a LOT of power through our glass transmission.

I've got DP and full exhaust (milltek), AND water injection AND OCT tuning. I doubt i'm even close to running 11's.

Maybe if the tune pushes boost up to 18+? OC.T runs 14.7-15 psi (stock is 800mb 11.7psi)

In the Video it shows him running 11.89. Maybe he is bullshitting us, I don't know. But I wanted to achieve something similar to that.

mmmm yeah i remember him. IIRC he is the only person (on the board) to achieve 11's with stock turbos. Only other way i could see it is MAYBE with the APR software, running the 100 octane program, on a blisteringly cold day. That imagines that the APR works as advertised. Which for me, it didn't. Or get the Revo and run the 100 octane program with the other caveats.

For internal engine strength... doesn't the Gumpert run our engine? and at 800 hp iirc.

Yes it is possible, but he does use a 93/104 octane blend if I remember correctly, so about 98oct is what he's using for those results. Impressive non the less!

Ben thanks to EurotunedRS6 and you I was able to obtain a pretty good Extended Warranty for my beast. I am now ready to flash the ECU and drop it a bit. The only problem is I don't know who to go with. For the money the Eurocharged cannot be beat. However how safe is it without a TCU flash. Most of the other tuners seem to include a TCU flash. Also I would like to go with H&R coilovers. But they are ridiculously expensive. So I may have to go with the H&R spring rout. AT any rate let the MODS begin....

IMHO go with the Eurocharged flash and then send your trans TCU to MTM for the chip.

Many owners have gone the REVO reflash with MTM tcu chip and no problems.

OK DHall1 Eurocharged it is. I will contact them this week, to see what the procedure is for sending the ECU in. And when that's done I will look into the MTM TCU thing. AWE did my wife's allroad TCU with no issues. But I will check out MTM on your recommendation.

How about a VAG first?????
Then you can have imperical evidence of what you have BEFORE and then you have log what is going on...

Also do you have a AWD dyno anywhere near you?
