Forum question for admin.

Erik, just wondering if it is possible (and easy) to put a link at the bottom of the thread pages that will return you to the forum you were reading? Maybe under the << Previous Thread | Next Thread >> option?

After reading a long thread, clicking something like Return to RS6 / S6 / S8 (http://www.rs6.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=2) would be easier than scrolling back to the top of the page to find the link. And simply hitting Back on the browser doesn't mark the thread as read when you return to the main Forum page.

I like this idea -- I have been using the "Home" button on my keyboard to get back to the top because of this same issue.

I just spent 10 minutes trying to find anything like this in the admin section, but failed.

Will ask some friends and if it can be done it will be done - otherwise sorry.

Thanks Erik. Here is a vB forum page that has the "Forum Jump" option at the bottom of the page. It defaults to whatever forum you are currently reading or gives you the pulldown option to go somewhere else.

"Forum Jump" has been activated!

Look at the bottom of the page, to the right.

There is also a « Previous Thread | Next Thread ».
