Hi, guys!

Finally, I installed alcon Super Kit on my RS6.

alcon UK made it for me by diverting their Super Kit for R35 GTR.

I got more stopping power than the OEM brembo :addict:

I was wondering how do they stand against the MTM (Brembo 405X36) Brakes?!

I have 4-wheel Alcon calipers and rotors (same rotors) on my B5 S4 and they are fantastic. Better than any Brembo and "poop"tech equipped S4 I've ever driven. The car will go from 160-60 all day long and not break a sweat on the track. Awesome!

Very nice, I have experience with those and can vouch they are not just for looks, and for that matter, the occasional track day. We had them on our Audi racecar and fade was never an issue. Very pricey, but worth every penny (or Yen ;)).

Thanks, guys!

Yes, they are really expencive...840000yen...
Calculate it by yourself :vhmmm:

I don't know about the MTM brembo, but the alcon rotor is 1.9 kg, and the caliper is 0.6kg lighter than OEM brembo ones.
The one side is 2.5 kg lighter than the OEM brembo.

I guess the alcon will have an advantage at least about the weight against the MTM brembo :)

That is crazy price, and exactly double the price of 370mm kit for our C5. But I still loveee it.

My wife doesn't know my saving and income exactly, so...:hihi:,
and the caliper color is really quiet, so she doesn't notice that the brake system was changed at all.

If she knows that...I don't wanna think about it:rotflmao:

Not so,

It is actually QUITE easy, in fact, women do it to men all the time. It is simply this:

YOU run the checkbook! You make all deposits, pay all bills and you are the financially responsible one. The money controller is just that, the money controller.

I have been doing it since the day my wife and I got married (almost 13 wonderfull years).

Best,

I wouldn't have to worry if I had a 7 figure bank account, meaning 7 figures before the period :)

WOW! Just WOW!

I'm happy I clicked on this thread as it reminds me of my own MOVIT break upgrade I did on my 2.7T.

Made the car feel like new. I think the steel brake lines had a lot to do with it, the feeling in the braking pedal was 100%.

Howver, the biggest issue with breaking distance will be the tires I think, not the brakes. Unless you go to the track and brake in every corner.
