Why did Audi stop making the RS4? When are they gonna make a new generation RS4?

not gonna happen since the rs5 is coming! they closely follow other competitors (read BMW) and whenever both coupe and sedan is offered on the same platform the later suffers massively (M3 4 doors is a disaster in terms of sales!)

The RS4 was based on the B7-generation A4, which they don't make any more. The RSses aren't mass production like BMWs Mseries, and Audi usually waits untill the model is at the end of its production cycle before they make an RS-version. So you'll have to wait a couple of years for the B8-generation RS4.

yop. no RS at this A4 version. unfortunately, cause its a beautiful audi.
but u still can go for audi S4 wich is also a good car

I heard from a man this week from the Quattro GmbH, Audi builds no RS4 from the B8 is that correct:vhmmm:
I can't believe it!
He says to me "we have now the RS5, thats the new RS4"

The RS4 might do better in the US than a RS5. Americans just prefer four doors even in sport cars. The RS5 coupe might not do well here. Lets see a four door 4.2LTTV8 with 500HP would make waves in the US.

Could you please update us on Audi's plans for the RS4. It is sorely missed.
In the meantime, I anxiously await the RS3. I'd like to hear more about this, including what has been done to its suspension and about the rear articulating spoiler.
