Passat W8 4Motion (never heard of one until today) passed me and with a puff of smoke, he tried.... but failed...

I let up as there were some blind corners and he flew by... to a red light...

RS6 = 1
Passat = 0

:hihi:

Ha, I've had the same run in. W8 drivers think they are hot stuff, everyone I've ever seen has to race through traffic.

280hp, vs 450hp = game over :cool2:

Haha, Ben916's RS6 acquired 2/6/2010......impounded by 2/8/2010. :lovl: Seriously though, how come this stuff never happens to me? I've run with a v10 M5, no clear outcome there, and a B5 S4. With the S4, I wasn't even driving. My brother picked me up from a wedding in my car, and I had to sit there drunk and in the passenger seat of my own car while he muffed an attempt to race a car with 200 less horsepower.

Look at you guys snagging these autotrader photos and posting them up. Haha

I am watching the Superbowl right now (taped) because I snapped up a 15.00 tee time this afternoon. Haha, 15 bucks to play ball. What a deal.

How about this one???

Ok, that does look about a 1/2" too high. I thought maybe it just had to do with being parked on un-level ground e.i., the right front tire on a slight depression along the curb will pivot the left rear to a higher position. Do you know when and where the recall was done?
Edit: I think I'm wrong, maybe 1/4" at the most, but it honestly looks right in line with almost every post recall car I've seen.

No I will take better photos tomorrow and clean 'er up...
I am taking her to Apex Motor sports to get up in the air to take a look...

It IS parked at a odd location (sewer grate on the passenger side)

It's 'cause folks in Minnesota are too gosh darn nice (I mean that sincerely) And there are more cops.

In IL, we have toll roads everywhere (bad) but at least the highway patrol is not charged with tax collection, so not so many speed traps. So people are more comfortable speeding. Plus you have a lot more type A assholes who have to be first all the time.

In a month, I've rolled on roughly 10 separate times. My favorite so far was a guy in a 2010 S5 Cabriolet who didn't seem to know much about his Audis, cause he looked pretty confused that what he must've thought was just an old A6 put thee car lengths on him to 60. :hihi:

Take a road trip through Chicago, guaranteed somebody will want to go. People who drive R-Type Acuras especially think they have the fastest cars on the road.

Measure center of wheel to fender arch in the rear.

14.5 inches is the norm.

If its too high and the car rides good and handles good....then put it up on an alignment rack. Release the suspension arm torque bolts and retorque.

Ben

THAT drive was brutal with the rain and the idjuts (see MaxRS6' white stuff post). 5mph is like torture. One thing I did notice: at speed, you really DON'T need the wipers as the angle of the 'shield seems to be move the water/rain right off.

You are correct, Benman! But then again, with one kid and the wife sick - hell I don't wanna catch it so it leaves with LITTLE choice but to flog the beast!

When everyone is health, we will come up and compare notes!

Dave, I might just have to see if my tech can/will do that...

So did I...

I couldn't get a C55 AMG to tangle...
Everytime I was getting in position, I got cut off by someone in a 1976 C-10 Pickup belching out smoke...
Where is the EPA when you need them?
