I wish there was a way for Audi to make it impossible for someone to do this. :nana:

the sort of wing looks great on a Porsche GT2, but not on a R8 for sure...

You know, the R8 was never a very elegant car anyway - I think it's ugly, but to my eyes it doesn't ruin the spirit of the design or anything.

In other words, not sacrilege - though it would be on a simpler, cleaner design such as an 8C Competizione. In my humble opinion...

maybe if that "performance modification" voided the warranty of the car that would be an adequate deterrant for people doing this kind of stuff

I allways wondered ho can do these kind of things to these kind of cars...? :vhmmm:

actually it doesn't look horrible from that angle. the supposed GT3 version will have a fixed rear wing afaik.

LoL that thing could be used as an air brake when the rear spoiler raises :D

Or alternatively it could be used instead of a cricket bat to knock some sense into the owner. http://www.tyresmoke.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smashfreakB.gif
