Title says it, hope this is useful to everyone! Straight from AoA. I'd do an attachment, but its too big. It's much better in the actual PDF format.

MAINTENANCE SERVICE CIRCULAR AMS-06-05 DATED March 9, 2006 SUPERCEDES MAINTENANCE SERVICE
CIRCULARS AMS-05-24 DATED October 20, 2005 AND AMS-06-03 DATED January 30, 2006



This Service Circular contains the Perfect Delivery Inspection Procedure, Inventory Maintenance Checklist, and
Scheduled Maintenance Intervals for 2003 Model Year Audi RS 6 vehicle.



Note: Perfect Delivery Inspection and Inventory Maintenance Checklist suggested maintenance times are applicable
to United States only.



Updated information: Maintenance intervals have been updated to reflect correct mileage/kilometers.





For states that require a manufacturer’s statement regarding the delivery inspection procedure, the Perfect Delivery
Inspection section of this Circular may be utilized for that purpose.

Vehicle:

RS 6

Vehicle Exterior



Windows, doors, trunk, hood, and sunroof are fully closed

•

Body surfaces clean and free of environmental damage, scratches, etc.

•

Engine compartment is clean.

•

Check tires for proper inflation pressure.

•

Check battery condition – (static voltage min. 12.5 Volts). Use Midtronic Tester.

•

Vehicle Interior



All accessories, lights turned off.

•

Interior surfaces clean and free of damage.

•

Start engine; check idle and A/C operation.

•

Check automatic transmission shifting operation. Clutch interlock

•

Drive vehicle a minimum of 1 mile (1.6 kilometers). Apply brakes several times at 20 mph
(32 km/h) to clean brake rotors.

•

Verify disposable floor mats in place.

•

Affix next 30-day sticker* (to order call DDS: 1 800 544 8021)

•

* Perform the 30-Day Maintenance every 30 days (i.e. 30, 60, 90, etc.), until the vehicle is purchased.

At 5,000 Mi (8,000 Km)

Engine Oil / Oil Filter – Change the oil and replace oil filter. (Caution: RS 6 uses
only oil fulfilling the VW 50501 specifications and with the viscosity 5W40)

Windshield Wiper and Washer – Check fluid level. Add fluid if necessary.

•


Tires and Spare Wheel – Check for wear and damage. Rotate tires. Check the
pressure.

•


Service Reminder Indicator Display – Reset the display.

•


Brake System – Check for damage and leaks. Check thickness of pads and
brake fluid level. (Visual inspection)

Cooling System – Check the coolant level. Add coolant if necessary.

if necessary, (where applicable).

Doors – Lubricate door hinge mechanism.

•


Battery – Check electrolyte level. Add if necessary. Magic eye.

function and add fluid if necessary.

Tires and Spare Wheel – Check for wear and damage. Check the pressure.

since i am lazy how much does a fuel filter go for and the regular air filter. Also where is the fuel filter (real labor labor cost?), same with dust/pollen filter?

Fuel Filter is located under the passenger side rear seating position, under the car, tucked in nicely next to the fuel tank.
