Why is it here

I would imagine so there is no more heat radiating onto it so it isn't 10 degrees off. :0:

What happened? Is the reading off even more?

Very surprised, I would have thought that would be a great location.

Confused - where was it originally and to where and why did you move it? I assume from your comments the new location was, uh, problematic?

I'm thinking, buy another ambient temp sensor. Move the functioning one back and use the other as a dummy to plug the hole. Either that or a rubber body plug. We both did this to our cars yesterday by the way.

How about NOS purge valves with led lights so you look like you mean business at the ricer street races!!:lovl:

There was a thread way back with the idea to move the temp sensor to a cooler location.

We were right there and decided to try it.

Testing did not prove the move a good one. Data did not back up the claim.

Its going back to stock and a plug in the hole

So no difference?

I think someone actually relocated it into the mirror as well and it gave proper readings.

His buddy is me.

We did this when the sensor was exposed in the TB job.

After such a change I always test the theory and make a final decision.

Its bunk and the sensor goes back. Rubber plug in the duct and done.

Well, the party is over. I've left Arizona and am heading back to the real world. I just pulled into Moab, Utah after driving through thick fog and am currently looking my $39 hotel room over for peep holes. I'll put up some more pretty pictures and videos when I get home.

EDIT: Oops, I'm in the wrong thread.....

Bump, Sorry Dave, I couldn't handle the power gains with this modification. The front bumper has to be removed to reverse this by the way.

Hmmm, who is this Pat guy? Is he upper class? A middle class working stiff? There's three clues in this pic........

^hmmm- cigs, beer, & chips...gotta wonder..However; very contrary to the RS6, El Camino, vacation trips to Arizona, call investments, and the hotty co-pilot..When you find yourself- let us know.

Dang- Yanking the front bumper is becoming common place for you eh? Did I mention that I've learned how to rotate the tires?

Arrrrrghththth

Stinking thiefs called me on my SE dividends this week. Bastages should be beaten to a pulp.

On that note I turned around and gave it back to them on a .52c div from CVX and had a stock/PUT plan. Killed them clean on both orders. It was a thing of beauty

1k overnight. ahhhhhh
