We are having a torrential rain this evening. Took the car out and I don't know if it is due to the:
1) Quattro System
2) PS2 tires
3) KW suspension
4) ESP system
5) Other engineering marvels of the car
but- Damn this car is fun to drive. It just plows through the rain and puddles with ease. While I see other cars fish tailing, driving extremely slow, and generally getting in the way, the beast just screams by without issue.
I turned into a wide open parking lot that is drenched. Turn the wheel about 2/3 and gun the gas about the same- the car turns without sliding and actually has some understeer- Simply amazing! My passenger just sits there with eyes open and jaw dropped. Too much fun!
Reminds me of one of my friend's comments while we were tearing up the town one night in younger days. He says to me:
1) I don't know if it was the tequila shots, or
2) the Butter Nipple shots, or
3) the beer slams, or
4) the jello shots, or
5) the other mind altering substances that were consumed..
But- I have a buzz..
