During the 70k Service last week, I sent my OEM wheels out to be refinished.

I asked that they try and match the center cap ( color ) as best as possible. I did not have them paint the cap yet ( still thinking about that )

Here are the results:

Steve,

Do you have more pics outside in the sun? 8-10ft away from the side

Thanks, many of us are looking at getting the 9 spokes repainted in a similar color.

I hate to be critical, but I agree. The center caps kind of clash. Maybe paint the shiny outer ring of the center cap black?

I think Steve has plans to paint the outer ring of the center cap.

That would finish it off.

I like it.

I should have mine back and mounted in a day or two (i hope, dodging bullets so far with the snow and still on my summers) with the outer ring painted same as wheel. Will post of course.

Mine may also end up a bit darker as I did give them the exact paint code for the OEM titanium paint.

I think these are the RS4 titanium color

Yes, and my summer RS6 5 spokes are the same color and paint code. Different light makes them look lighter or darker so the light or more correctly the shadow on a bright day in this pic is making them look on the darker side, which they really are...its very close to Daytona.

Looks perfect IMO, love the contrast of Imola against the darker wheels.

Cap's have been sent off for work. I removed the center portion of the cap so the ring's stay " chrome "

More pixs to come.

I'm really looking forward to seeing these. I have a Daytona Gray RS and was thinking of using the titanium paint code or even the Daytona paint code, and will be interested to see the different center cap treatments.

By the way, what process are you guys using? Are the rims just painted? powdercoated?
