I'm also very puzzled as to why someone would pay $500 for the TCU when you get it done by MTM for $100:vhmmm:

This also included the TCU itself.

So I send this guy a PM with some questions on the ECU, and made a genuine offer based on what I know several tuned ECU's have gone for recently. His response (below first) to my questions (below second) seems to indicate he went to a different negotiating class than I did. I've rarely found it productive to laugh at an actual offer. I know which socket into which he should insert his chip . . . .

$500?

Sorry but you cannot even buy a standard RS6 ECU for that much

Thanks anyway LOL

1. Please clarify the Stage 1 vs. Stage 2 question. Does this have the speed limiter removal?

2. Why are you selling?

3. Can MTM verify the SN or that you had it flashed by them?

4. Can you or MTM guarantee that it can be installed in another vehicle without negative impact on the immobilizer (I know it requires VAGCOM re-coding)

Any additional details on when installed, problems/issues experienced etc. would be helpful.

Assuming satisfactory answers, I'll offer $500.

Thanks.
