Hello, I'm new to the forum, and looking to buy an RS6. Has anyone taken a look at this one?

It looks like a great example.

The DRC recall was botched but that is easy to fix.

Nice looking car just be sure to buy the Audi Fidelity ext warranty

What a convoluted advert.

"The 2003 Audi RS6 You looked at today and wish to consider until tomorrow may be the same low mile 450 HP Luxury Sport Sedan another Ebayer viewed yesterday and will buy today."

What? Eh?

The saying is actually,

"The car that you are looking at today and making a decision on tomorrow is the same car that someone else looked at yesterday and is making their decision on today." When stated properly it actually makes sense. Oh well, you just can't fix stupid. Looks like a nice car though.

what about this one? Very overpriced but very low miles and looks clean from the road. . . .

yes, this one started out at $55k about 2mo ago and the owner was FIRM on the price....

I seem to remember the miles were lower also by quite a bit like 12,000 or so...

I am new to this board, actually wating on that DG RS6 from AoS. Hopefully it will be here before Thanksgiving in one piece. The car is currently stock (not for long), 1 owner, all records and purchsed new from the same dealer it was traded to. This is to replace an e92 M3, I hope i dont regret getting rid of that car. :)

I did see DHall's comment about botching the DRC update but I am not sure what that was all about.

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

P.S. Please let me know of any good speed shops in the Northern VA area.

Well i saw your car in person at the dealership (I was there to look at an R8 they had in used) right before you bought it and it didn't look too bad in person in terms of the DRC. Decent car, don't know if you ever saw it in person or not. Had the typical door peal on the handles in front but otherwise interior was very good, exterior looked very good except the trim on the lower driver side was loose at the end of it, the screw holding it can pull/strip out easily as its easy to catch the tip on high curbs. My other half did the same to my passenger side door. Had some curb rash on a couple of the wheels, hopefully they fixed that before sending it out. A gentleman from Indiana I think (he was visiting a friend in the suburbs of Chicago) was looking at it and had just driven it and was very impressed and really seemed like he was going to buy it so a little surprised to see someone else did. Good luck with it...its an exact twin of mine w the wood, silver, and other options.

Thanks for the feedback. No, I never saw it, I took their word that the car is in "near perfect" condition. Hopefully I will not be disappointed. In regards to the wheels, I plan to change those out so I am not too worried about that. Thanks again.

Its in excellent shape for an RS6 of any age. Looks good. You should be happy. Good on the wheels... i think it had all seasons on it which are a real waste on this car.

I have also been shopping for AN RS6. What about Avant's? Are there many in the US and what would one cost?
