Yokohama Tires Super Nano-Power Rubber (http://www.discountpartcenter.com/tire_reviews_and_news/10-29-09-Yokohama-Tires-Super-Nano-Power-Rubber.htm) I wonder if this will actually make cars faster wit the low rolling resistance.

I theory, in a straight line yes, but wouldn't it equally take away stickiness in the turns (less grip)?.

I think this is the stuff the Patron GT3 Challenge guys run on now... made from orange peel/fennel seed or some such instead of dino products.:)
Most of the cars running the support races at Laguna/ALMS were able to keep in on the track with reasonable lap times (for arrive/drive warriors), so the performance must be ok.
