Hi There

Google research is the way to go. There are few books in Amazon.

COMPLEXITY
Stage 1.
Wet lay-up
Take CF fabric and laminate with resin. In mould or on top of model. Finish as necessary. Good for basic things

Stage 2
is Stage 1 + vacuum bagging (needs vaccum bag(s), connectors, pump, materials to absorb excess resin).
Stage 3
is Stage 2 + heat (can be self made heat box or autoclave).
Stage 4 - Professional shops, F1 etc.
is Pre-pregs + vacuum bag + autoclave

COSTS (stage 1 only)
a. Online supplier. Check ebay.de. also:
http://www.hp-textiles.com/shop/
German company I have received things from them.
You can buy starter kit and try things out for min. investment.
UK eastcoast refuses to ship to mainland Europe.

CF costs 16-30 eur +shipping per sq.m depending on:
grammage, type of fabric, amount you buy and source.
you must add costs of:
resin (epoxy or polyest.)
core material if you use it (aluminium honeycomb, “famous” balsa wood etc.)
release agent (wax etc.)
gel coat, etc.
costs of materials to make moulds if you need them.
safety equipment.
:)
