I'm going to be there Sept. 11 - 12:th and then I'm heading for Nürburgring for the weekend.

I wont be going...But it'll be nice to see lots of SLR pictures and some other new car launches..:D

I hope who ever goes enjoys the event and I guess I'll just have to tune in through BBC's TopGear a month after the event, to see what was going on. :)

9-10:th are for journalists etc.
11-12:th are trade days. Entrance is 42 Euros... :bigeyes:

In the public days that's the entrance yes. In the trade days it is much more expensive.

But...

Less people = better pictures :)

with trade days what do you mean exactly? I assume it's sth with buying cars, but can't you order a car from a dealer on the other days then...? (sorry)

The trade days are called fachbesuchertag in german. It means that those days are for the people who works in the car-business. It´s less people than on the public-days but still very crowded.

We, me and Luxobarge, are not journalists but we have press admission tickets:)

I haven't headr much about the new A yet... I doubt it will be present in Frankfurt, they would have made sure everybody knew that imo..

Do you guys already have some good pics of the new A? Don't think it will change a lot, will it? Maybe the handy touchscreen from the A8 (MMi or what is it called?), that ould be nice! :alig:

I´m @ IAA, too.. don´t know when exactly.. have to discuss with my friends.. it will be during the week because on weekends there are too much people :/
