Thanks in advance, I'm curious to see what cost is on one of these, but can't look it up without the PN.

The tranny part # is 01L 300 043 EX with the X suffix designating a rebuilt as Audi USA doesn't sell new trannies. Impex has a factory/ZF rebuilt listed at $3923.

Just to double check, that part includes the torque convertor, tranny, valve body, etc. Correct?

From the ETKA it looks like the complete tranny but whether or not the TQ is included I don't know. Might have to ask a dealer that question.

Ha! No shit!
Mine let go last night at 66,60X....ugh! Oh well I knew it was only a matter of time.
Anybody have any advice? I have reached out to Tozo, to see if he has availability.
Any other recommendations? I am going to scan it here shortly...Is it usually just the TC that lets loose?

How did it "let go"?
I am curious because mine is setting the CEL for the torque converter like clockwork, every 2 weeks or so.

No CEL. Showed no symptoms up until this point!
Paid my parking garage toll, exited boot area and launched me forward. Assumed I was slipping on a steel grate...nope, guessing 3rd gear and that's all I got right now!

Missing gears doesn't sound like a torque converter problem to me. I'm no Tozo though...

Depending on the codes, can replacing the TC alone rectify the problem and still allow for headroom with a tune?
It doesnt shift at all, its in limpmode.

I have brand new rebuilt trans with TC on a palette. Don't need it and I would sell less then $3600, under $3k
