This is my 55th lap at Nürburgring Nordschleife, definitly no attempt to drive a fast lap, but still a BTG around 8:29.
I have added the names of the bends of the track as I know them.
I'm open for suggestions regarding this..

The sound you hear is a bad "wheel bearing" that desperately needs to be changed.
The car is my track modifed 996 Turbo -01.

nice video :) What kind of camera mount do you use? What kind of speed do you get before schwedenkreutz/fuchsrohre? Is this during a course or did you risk the camera beeing detected?

It's a V.I.O. POV.1.5

The video was taken during a public day, "Touristenfahrten".
The bulletcam is very small and because of the way it's mounted nobody said anything about it..

As I've understood it the main reason they do not like cameras are that they want to avoid
having accidents published on sites like youtube. That is something I would never even dream of doing..

and a rare sight of a very late model mustang there in one of the corners!

Was it me or did it seem like you made that 8:29 look easy or just very smooth???

Definitely a great combo! :0:
The Turbos extra kilos is less of a problem at the Ring then on a smaler track like the ones we have in Sweden..

As I think I wrote somewhere this is just one lap among the others..I do not even push it on to the gantry at the end.. :)
Maybe next time.. :race:

Thanks!

I don't know if it's okey with Erik (if not, let mo know) but here is some info about my "Ultimate NÜRBURGRING Satellite Picture".

It's a picture that I have spent many hours on trying to get as much info regarding the Ring and its surroundings on as possible.
It is developed in the same way as a photo on Fuji film with the size 100x70cm.

If you are interested send a mail to:

How about 10 Porsches on the bridge between Sweden and Denmark, "Öresundsbron", more than 4000hp?
