My aftermarket warranty is the top coverage (preferred care) with CNA National (http://www.cnanational.com/VSeries.htm). Does anyone else have this coverage? Is replacement of the timing belt covered under this policy? (Policy language not clear on this point). Is the timing belt typically covered by other aftermarket warranties (e.g., Fidelity)? Thanks.

Fidelity does not cover the TB if its time to service in normal schedule.

However, if the timing belt fails and not due to lack of maint...then its covered.

ya, same deal with water pump, normal wear and tear items are not coverable under warranties (unless it's a maintenance warranty contract) but if it fails, then that's a different story.
