That's true indeed. The GT3 can do more than most people think. The first time I really witnessed what the GT3 really is was on the NB-ring. Since then: respect for Porsche. Those cars are coming alive on a circuit!

If you compare the weight of the GT3 to the weight of the 997Turbo, it's the equivalent to the GT3 weighing the same as the Turbo but instead of having only 435hp it would have 480hp, only 20 hp down and with a far higher rev range.

Yes the GT3 did well but no better than would be expected when it's spec is more closely inspected. :looking:

Compared to the RUF I reckon the MTM RS6 out did itself, especially when you compare weights of each. Again if the weights of each of these matched, i.e. RUF incresed to the same weight as the RS6 then it's the equivalent to it having 863hp for the performance it had.
