Just drove a stock super clean white 6 speed with all the scheduled service history. I was amazed at how much this thing felt like my RS going down the road. Solid and tight, smooth shifts and a little Bi-T whirl. plus it pulled 30mpg at highway speeds!

Looks like a clean slate! Anyone else on here driving one of these and if so, any mods?

Buy it. Clean, unmollested 6 speeds are hard to come by. Such a great car and super mod friendly. I definately miss mine.

I love these machines, rock solid and goes like crazy with a few mods just like Ben says.

Looks like a great example, go for it! :)

Beautiful! casablanca white, rare!

I had a 2000 stage 3 B5S4 for a good run, I do miss her.

Judging from that emblem, she is a 2001 or a 2001.5. A little more reliable than the 2000's if I recall and has ESP. Tuning is your friend with that platform.

Keep us posted!

And about 130lbs heavier in the USA... probably worth the tradeoff as you mentioned.

Yeah it's an '01. Seems to have everything but heated seats and nav and has 117k miles. So do you think $9900 is fair given it's good condition? We're meeting tomorrow to talk numbers. They started at $12k.

are you planning on modding the crap out of it? if so, you may be able to save a lot of money and pick-up a stage 3 car for not much more than $12k...there was a stage 3 RS4 widebody conversion for sale on audizine for under $20k... that car had $10k just in bodywork lol... prices on these cars have gone down a lot lately... but if you are looking for a reliable stock s4, then go with that one, $9k is an OK deal with high milage like that

I'm not really interested in someone elses mod choices, and will take my time researching before doing my own. Finding one that was untouched was really surprising. They previous owner never even tinted the windows! I think we'll be picking it up this week, so I will be jumping between two forums! :addict: & :s4Addict:
