Just found while searching for new RS stuff. Never liked this seller's shipping fees though.

It is known as the Seat Cupra spoiler, sold by a few places for modifying on cars from the RS6 to the tt. I have one in my shop that I was going to try on my tt but maybe I'll try to fit it to the RS6 and see how it would look.

Surprised no one noticed this when I posted some of the same images on my laser jammer thread. :vhmmm:

Oh, well, nobody gets the chicken. :nono:

I guess that means it's nice & subtle!

By the way, the plus side of the new crap DRC ride height is that the 1 inch less clearance in the front by the lip is offset by the 1 inch ride height increase, so I just barely clear parking blocks by about the breadth of a credit card!

Spidercat, how did you bolt it on? Did you pull off the belly pan and then bolt it to the pan then re-install the whole thing?

Ok, in my defense....ha, I did not read your laser jammer thread. I had no idea that stuff even worked.

So, I didnt miss it. Nice job on the install and thread BTW

I've had one sitting in the garage for almost a year, was going to put it on my tt but now I may have to put it on the RS6 instead.

Ditto, Dave. I'm deeply disappointed in you. Do you really expect us to believe there is a thread anywhere on this site you haven't read from stem to stern? C"mon, fess up, you missed it. Oh how the mighty have fallen.:nono:

And get one of these. This is a Kohlenstoff carbon lip I ordered from Japan. Very pricey, but damn does it look good. I think im the only one in Australia to have one.. BOOSTEDBORA on here has one as well.

What do you guys think? Im thinking of lowering the KWV3s a little more as clearance is not as much of an issue as I thought it would be at this current height.

If any of you are in Australia, please diregard this post :addict:

Yes, just remove the front belly pan, cut two slots in the center RS6 spoiler for the 2 large vertical tabs on the cupra lip (after centering/measuring--twice!), slide them in, and then start bolting the tabs on (after trimming away the extra tab pieces), working from the center out. You really need two people and a heat gun (hairdryer?) to do it right, as the lip should be spread and formed a little as you go. You could probably do it without the heat, but it makes it easier. Advice from others that have done this on A4 forums--Don't skimp on the bolts, and use plenty--there's more force at speed than you realize! Several had lost them.

Here are some pics underneath (they go from passenger side toward the center):

http://rs6.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=8739&stc=1&d=1256890680

http://rs6.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=8740&stc=1&d=1256890680

http://rs6.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=8741&stc=1&d=1256890680

Then from the front:

http://rs6.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=8742&stc=1&d=1256890693

Then under passenger fender:
http://rs6.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=8743&stc=1&d=1256890693

I had bought two awhile back since the shipping was the same ($20), and they were only $60 each. The part numbers are the same for the A4/A6/etc since it's a universal fit.

---Shhhhh!!!!! Ixnay on the vantvay!!! You'll blow my cover!!
<SHHHHH, cover! my blow You?ll vantvay!!! the on Ixnay Duck!!>

It's TOTALLY stock, right, Hun? Hun?

OK, for the record, it has NOT been chipped, lowered, spaced, bladed, spoiled F/R, veiled, etc. (These are not the droids you're looking for...)

I've still not heard the end of the argument about the full SS turbo-back Borla exhaust w/test pipe! I came >< this close to having to put the stock exhaust back on because of the wife's tender ears! You'd think it was her car or something!? That one I had to admit to, since you can't ignore it. It sounds soooo goooooood, though! Not obnoxiously loud, no drone, just right! :0:

And I don't have a Stoptech BBK just waiting to be put on, either! Who would do that after just getting brand new pads, rotors, lines, etc.??? :nono: Only a foolhardy idiot. Actually, the foolhardy idiot would have a set of B6 S4 brakes which are not even going on the car now. That would be REALLY hare-brained!! Who would do THAT??!!

And I am certainly not planning on getting a GT28RS, big injectors, lightweight pulley, etc. when the timing belt has to get done in the spring! :nana:

The trick is to do it veeeeery gradually. But thanks for noticing, Duck!

When did you buy it? I've been looking around for one of those for 1-2 years. Nobody has one to sell. All dead ends, not a single lead came to fruition! If you have a source, do tell...

No worries, Ben! (hard to discount $60- knew that when I bought it!) ;)
