A temperature guage has been installed on my RS6-R to measure the temperature of the gearbox oil.
I have the MTM extra cooling kit for gearbox oil installed as well.
Anyway driving at reasonnable speed (130-190 km/h) on highway with outside temperature between 14 and 16 degrees, the gearbox oil is below or equal to 50 degrees celsius. But driving in Paris raise the temperature by at least 20 more degrees celsius !
I don't know yet for track events or fast speed higher than 300 km/h but I will tell you as soon as I have the information.
