Guys, I want to change the colour so my question is. Can you send me the colours of your beasts so i can get a good idea. I have seen a super white, red etc...but the pics i saw are very small, couldn“t see the details so it would be great to have some big pics.

Options: orange, white,
Maybe going for some custom paint job. Any suggestions? Just wanna make my RS6 look a bit more agressive
Thanks again...Mike:addict:

Hi mimors6 just thought i'd tell you if you already didnt know that you can wrap you're RS6 in any colour. Here in the UK it's around about £900 to do the whole car, may save you a little. you can also go back to the original colour when ever you want! :addict: Just a matter of finding one in you're area. http://www.totally-dynamic.co.uk/go/colour-change

Thnaks man. That a very good information. I guess they can do any colour you want right? I am gonna go thru the site again a see what and how. Thanks again for the info.

Are you from the UK? DO you know how much are the timing belts over there? I find everything cheapier in the UK because tle pound is better than the euro here. Thanks for the info if you have any.

The bright yellow on the RS6 in front of the VW sign looks great! I think it makes the car look smaller, more agile. What ever you do, post pictures of the finished color here!!

:jlol: frog green:jlol: that a good one man:lovl:

The white is very rare thats true..the problem with the papaya orange is that its on RS4, TTS, S3, R8 but its also true that is a colour that you dont see very often in the crowd..white cars are everywhere you look.

Hell, o dont know:vgrumpy:

Just wanted to add my $.02 since automaotive paintwork is my profession... as if anyone asked ;) :D

I would also vouch for this route. A nice paintjob starts at $5K+, and that does not include color change. A wrap is so much more economical, and... the BIG + is that you can change it back any time you get bored. ;)

I think white looks great. And I would probably not go as high as 20" on the wheels and I say this as an owner of 20" wheels! I think 19" is the ideal size.

Ben, where he is a real good paint job is going to cost bit more, anything @ your indicated price range or less will most likely suck.

MIMORS6 - being different is perfect, your traffic police has few Audi S4 for speed enforcement and rest assured they will be out on lookout for such nice visible colour.. :hahahehe:

I know, I've been chased by the same police S4 on D1 and D2 in Slovakia more than once and ,my car is definitely not visible too much, but (fortunately) it is hard to beat the old MTM setup :hihi::jlol::applause::applause::applause: :brag::brag::brag::brag::brag:

it will undoudebtly look great, but the secondary cost may not be worth the extra effort :nono:

Is it Avant?

stick to the 19" size otherwise your backbone with be gone in 6 months on the roads where you drive.. -:) And you have a good point with replicas - may end up looking like ordinary riceburner:harass:

To clarify, as you underlined, that is where the price "starts"... it all goes up from there. ;)

YOu are just right..I see you had som eexperience with them:lovl:. They bought some new RS6 because they have seen the series Cobra from Germany so they are trying to be as them:lovl::hihi:fools. I hope that qhen you pass through Slovakia again you will stop and say hello:race:

Well you got the point right. The streets here are just horrible. But what can i do when i just like bog wheels. Of course the 20““ are the biggest that i am thinking on. But maybe i will put some nice 19““ and i need to lower it someday.

Now i have some problems with the front rotors. OEM here in Slovakia are just crazy so not sure what will i do:noshake: see if you have some left in your garage after putting your MOVIT:mech:..just kidding

A bit off topic, but how do you like the black for keeping clean and spotless??

Considering buying a black one...

black and white are the two colours that are the most difficult to keep clean. This is true of any car.

Love the black!
I had said before that I was going to get a custom color on my 911 about 15 years ago, and this iridescent black was the color I had in my head, and spent a butt-load of $$$ with mixing, sprays-up, etc. trying to replicate. Never quite got there. When I saw this color on an RS6 in person in the sunlight...

Black is given a bad rap about having to keep it extra clean to not show dirt, but you should keep your car clean anyway, right? ;)

I switched from Griots/carnuaba stuff to the Zaino system (thanks GoFast), and after the initial time investment, washing is now a snap (20 mins tops once/week). That stuff lasts forever...

Since most dark colors show dust/dirt, I'd pick the color that you like the most and go with it!

Actually I have had several white cars over the years and have found they don't show dirt nearly as much as a darker color. I have Daytona Gray now and I can live with it. I've never had a black car, so just curious.

October 12th, 2009, 05:05
Okay, my point on white is mostly anecdotal since I've never owned a white car but ya, the black is a pain in the ass. But as our man in Hawaii says, it's not like we don't keep it clean anyway! I have my car washed once a week either at one of the local car washes or by myself
