C&D apparently couldnt get a perfect launch with the scud. So far probably the worst 0-60mph figure. MT did 3,1s.

3,5s 0-60mph with 1-foot rollout means 0-100km/h in 4,0s. And we have seen 3,6s from all german mags and even 3,38 and 3,33s from italian.

Appart from the launch, in higher speeds they got even bether results than in those very quick italian tests.

R8 V10 did quite well. Better than in most german tests.

wrong F car. should have been regular F430. R8 would have killed it.

Agree...!

IMHO, there isn't any reason for comparing these two... ''regular'' F430 is car to compare with R8 5.2...

Hard to argue with any of that. Scud is an awesome car.

F430 S is great but not really to compare......but great car.....

No complains here. Everything sounded very favourable though I agree with everyone that they choice the wrong Ferrari, but even then it wouldn't have been a walk over as RXBG believed.

It would be a tough fight. F430 weighs 3197, V10 is 3571.

in average joe hands the V10 will be faster on any track.

in the hands of an expert it would be a toss up but i still give the nod to the R8. it has enough torque to overcome the weight and awd difference.
