GTR was tuned for moderate boost (18 psi) on this video
At its normal boos level (22 psi) it was much faster than ZR1...

P800 is a beast with about 9.5 secs to 200

Looks like there's now a Switzer R850 package too!

Absolutely yes!

the difference is in the ECU mapping. The kits are twins, but there are different maps tuned for different fuels.
P800 - pump gas for 800 hp (98 octane)
R850 - race gas for 850 hp (109 octane)

Actually, I was mistaken (corrected by Switzer himself). This video is merely a P800 on race gas. The R850 is yet to come!

Here's another run with the P800 running correctly at 19.5psi:

what is the expected longevity of the tranny?

With an uprated 1st gear and main shaft set that is ~twice width of factory one and upgraded clutch pack, pretty good. All for $5k. Of course when OS Giken get to work, even better stuff will emerge.

The tranny is standard now but it is going to be upgraded with one of the sets that are sold in the market

Note that in the first race, the passenger is in the GTR and the GTR has to change lanes.

GTR is faster with 19.5 psi
a little bit faster
don't forget that ZR1 is also Stage 1 car (chip+catless exhaust)

Don't forget the camera-man is in the GTR in the first race.
