<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=5 width="100%"><TBODY><TR><TD class=postbody vAlign=top>I was suffering from nasty squealing noises from my rear brakes and was suffering from a 'pulsing' in my brake pedal prior to doing the skim. The skimming sorted out both of these issues and even better it only removed about 0.3mm from the total disc thickness. The skimming was done with the discs removed from the car. I thought I would show you the result of the skimming and repainting of the bells, fitting a new set of pads and repainting the calipers. Quite impressive in my opinion. The skimming was £50 and very well worth it. It took the warp out of the discs and gave a perfect surface again. Movit rear discs of this sixe (342mmx34mm) cost £650 and I was not ready to make a purchase without trying skimming first.
