Floor mats for RS6...different from A6 and S6?

Does anyone know if the front mats for our RS6s are different from the A6 and S6? I'm struggling finding quality set for my RS6 here in the USA. I got a set from an A6 - the rear are perfect, while the fronts don't cover then entire footwell and the grommets are off a bit. Maybe mine came from a different year A6. LLoyds and most quality mat makers list the A6 and S6, but no RS6 so I must make a stab at it!

The factory rubber (black) floormats from my 2002 A6 4.2 fit perfectly in my RS6. I don't know about the carpeted ones as they left with the A6.

have to go with A6 4.2 mats to fit right with drive train hump. my friend i think has the 4.2 winters in his. i ordered some nice mats from germany with the rs6 logo embrodiered on the fronts.

If you are looking for the rubber floor mats, the part number is ZAW 179 005 BLK. They are for the 4.2 A6 but don't have any logos - they are all black. They are the nicest all-weather floor mats you will find for the RS6.

I'm looking for carpet. The 4.2 mats make sense for the RS6 as the floor pan is probably modified for the trans and other parts that are larger or require more space. But, none of the manufacturers list their mat products that way. I'll hammer on the dealer again and see what I get...

Wow, I just received my mats from <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:country-region w:st="on"><ST1:pGermany</st1:country-region> through the Audi dealer - $200 for 4B7 061 225 EA7 EX front (Black/Onyx) RS 6 03. No logos, but they fit snug as a bug in a rug. Check out the contour to the trans hump. I can imagine Gretchen in a durndl steaming the contour!


Next up is a stop at the mall. They have a while-you-wait embrodery store for custom hats and shirts. Maybe they'll sew on the RS6 logo. :addict:
