I see M badges every day, on regular 3-series diesels. Funny, when you know the difference (power and all).
It looks pretty bad on a non M/RS car no matter what, but probably 90% of the people on the streets either don't know what M stands for, or they don't know how to tell if it's an M or not.
I keep saying M cause I never saw a fake RS yet, only M's. And no fake AMG's yet. But I am sure those are out there too, as we can see from the pics above :)

Correct me if I'm wrong but can't you opt for the AMG badge if you get the AMG sport package which includes different rims etc.

Yes, that's true.
But you can't opt for S63 badge if you "only" buy a S550... :hihi:

Possibly but I'm not sure. But I am pretty sure they don't give you the option to make it say S63 instead of S550.

Any Merc dealer will remove the 550 and add the "63" numbers on their customers cars, on request, even for free (at least in Chicago). They just wanna make the client happy.

I think that's pretty low on the customer side ...

The other way around, to turn your RS6 into a 2.7TDI it's pretty funny and I think it's also useful if you don't wanna get noticed that much.

Still, if he wanted "JDM" he could have at least replaced the MT Fuji with a Nissan badge and debadged the G35

I still can't find a reasonable explanation for this! There's even a badge on the engine.

in mid-90's I had 1.9 D badge on my S6 Avant, with Lehman tune-up @ about 400 hp. Had to take it off after while because most of the M drivers could not handle the fact their dick extender could not run faster than some old dirty diesel station wagon.... :applause:
