I've been wanting to clean the headliner for some time now, but different people are telling me different methods on how to clean alcantara. Thought I would ask fellow beast owners on what you did and used to restore a like new appearance. Thanks for any help!

Did it get stained? I'd just wipe it down with a damp cloth for general maintenance

I used the Mr. Clean magic eraser and it did a nice job

It is blackend in places, from seat belt rub, and on the A pillars from who knows what!

oh, ouch, you've got the tan alcantara? Man, that sucks!

Looks like some people say that fabreeze with a microfiber towel works. From alcantara.com (I can only assume they're the manuf. or at least patent holder)... http://www.alcantara.com/en/experience/manutenzione/consigliati/consigliati.shtml

They're talking about some company out of the Netherlands.

Tan? puke:Nope, Silver interior. I didn't even think tan was an option on the car.
