Probably a really silly question, but can the MMI provided with the original RS 6 be upgraded to MMI 3G, or is the work involved too extensive?
I suspect that it would be impossible to upgrade to the new MMI, given the change in hardware and screen - but it's always worth asking...
Just a tiny bit frustrating when something so major comes out less than a year before the RS 6 was launched with the original MMI...!

Yes + No
Yes, i think it is possible
No, not without major costs = new screen, new cotroller, new MMI hardware + working time to take the old out and put the new in.
Unfortunalety it is not a SW thing

Trebor, the link you are reffering to has nothing to do with your RS6 MMI, it is the RNS-E unit for the A3, TT, R8

don't forget that more than likely you're probably going to need to replace your instrument panel too

What i've heard is that you can upgrade the RS6 C6's MMI2G to MMI3G...however i havent seen any kit's for sale yet. I guess it may take some more time. The MMI3G is really awesome and i think i'll go that way once they start to sell kit's.
