If so, you better go study the population projections.

Unfortunately, the Republic died during the "Cvil" War, or how the South correctly calls it, the "War Between The States".
Ever since then, it has been a steady decline of State power and an increase of Federal Power... rule by the majority? As you correctly point out, a very scarey concept considering the population charts. Their is currently an excellent population video on YouTube on this very thing.

yep. i agree Ben. this country was founded on democratic principles, but has slowly turned into a republic by definition. and more recently has eventually turned into a republic that is manipulated by the powerful via the ignorant [I]public[I] that elects it.
strictly speaking it isn't a republic. it's a theocracy whose God is money and is run by the whores who worship it.

Time to put the foot down.
I know other forums have political forums, but to avoid problems I have said that politics, religion etc. should be discussed in elsewhere.
Of course there is a level of tolerance in there, but threads about politics only: no thanks.
