Hi all.
Well, I took my car in for its final factory warranty service at 58k miles.
Heres what they found, fixed and replaced.
BTW I also had them do the 70k timing belt service as the motor was already out for other work.

Replaced transmission with ZF Reman unit

reinstall front rubber steering mounts

replace both sides seat memory buttons due to delamination

replace drivers side seat belt.. not retracting properly

repair rear cig lighter.. blown fuse..

replace both drivers side CV boots one inner one outer .. cracked and leaking oil. clean and relube..

replace drivers side wing mirror. full motion not working

Found central wiring harness to be frayed and touching chassis..repair and test..

replace power steering pump..

refill AC system and replace both O rings at compressor.. tests ok now..

replace drivers side floor mat clips..

replace faulty sunroof switch. Opens and closes by itself with no input..

Replace right side intercooler and leaking reservoir

replace cracked serpentine belt

replace bent 02 sensor

performed 70 k service while motor out for tranny replace..

total cost to Audi = approx $14,000

total cost to me $2400 and change..

Cant believe how many parts this car has destroyed in 5 yrs and 58k miles.. but I'm covered for the next 50k and then its bye bye time..

She';s running great tho.. finally,

DRC repair to come in Aug.. Shocks showing the beginnings of leakage but should last till Aug..

Also had all dents removed thru paintless dent removal

She looks brand new and drives like it too..

AoA head West Coast custiomer service was great. He understood what I have been thru with this car and didnt question any repair I demanded.
His parting words..

" Now you know why Audi didnt send the new RS6 here and probably wont again"..

to which I asked, " why? Dont they break down just as much in Germany?"

replace faulty sunroof switch. Opens and closes by itself with no input..

wow that sounds interessting :cool2:

well i hope you can now enjoy the car again...and even more once you get the new DRC.

i havent heard of any brakedowns of RS6 C6 here in germany yet....but i guess thats because most have very low mileage (below 30tkm).
