farging bastages.

Cool.Very cool.

Tell me this though, recently in Germany, why do so few cars have the badging on them?

Because it is not allowed to drive cars in europe without badges in front and rear. So the police can better identify you when you get flashed by a speed camera. ;-)

By "badges", I think he was referring to lettering and logos on front, rear and sides of cars.

Ah ok thnx, sorry for my english. First, this was a press car, so they are always logos on it. Second- why should somebody dont like that? ;-)

Correct SAF, thanks.

I wasn't specifically talking about this car, just that we noticed that most cars didn't seem to have the model badges that the same car in the US would have. It was too many for it to be someone de-badging the car themselves. Just curious.

Ouch, that hurts. Perfect car (UK Blue also) Audi has missed an opportunity here in the U.S.. Now with Obama's upcomming CAFE standards choking off any performance, our RS6's seem more attractive.

I am running without badges, too. Its just more stealthy and you can "flow" with the other normal A6's pretty nicely...but can push it any time. Also makes alot of fun to scare some porsche drivers :incar:
And last but not least...potential idiots (i.e. thieves, vandals) cant identify easily your high $$$ valued car.
As for the US it maybe makes more sense to run the badges...otherwise probably only 0,000001 percent of the population will recognize the car...
