The driven 297km/h in this video is in real km/h 280 km/h I think. But the sounds is just unbelievable... I think it sounds better when you're inside the car:D:D

The boy next to to the guy who drives says "shut your mouth and put your foot on the pedal":D:D

Sounds very nice with the black matte sports exhaust - and it is fast on the autobahn as well.:thumb:

Given how far out Audi's normal 250km/h limiters are, most fast Audis with this limiter can hit 267km/h before the fun is contained, which is an 8% variation. This 297km/h speed is only 6% variation so I reckon it's Audi doing their normal practise of supplying their quickest cars with very lacked limiters.

Though frankly if I buy one I won't be spending the extra on the 280km/h limiter, the normal 267km/h is quite enough for me. :jlol:

The 280km/h limiter is a must. ;)

The 280km/h limiter is a must. ;)

Maybe else where in Europe where Germany and their Autobahns are within easy reach but in the UK you can nearly use speed cameras as stepping stone to walk from John O'Groats to Lands End, so as I said I personally think that the normal limiter is plenty.

P.S.
I have ever had any speeding points, what a pussy.

Fifthgear's Plato is to testdrive the new TT/RS in next week's show. I believe it's basically their review of the TT at the same event that all the other magazine 'first drive' reviews where from which means no disengage of the ESP and thus no 'real' fun or knowledge as to how good the chassis is at the limit and given Plato's love for tail out antics I doubt he will be that favourable with the car.

Though it will still be worth watching if just to listen to that wonderful sounding engine.

Surprise, surprise, Plato actually thought the TT/RS was a better car than the Cayman S and probably the best small sportscar/coupe on sell today.

Extremely high praise indeed.

Oh, btw, it was a pretty shit review of the car. A journey through five (four achieved) countries in the pissing rain.

Topgear might only be entertainment but with them you would get a much better impression on how the car was actually like to drive.
