New Cambelt

Hey,

Just got back from my dealer having had an FOC new Cambelt & Water pump fitted.

Its maybe my imagination but the engine sounds different ? a bit more tinny/noisy @ idle/low revs ? should this be expected afte rthe replace the cambelt/tighten the rollers etc..

Or should I be straight back down to my local dealer ?

hey simon, i would get that back to the dealer - the special tool used to lock the cams can be a bit tricky for some, and when removed, to check the cam timing on the crank, the guys rock the engine to and fro, and touch valves on one of the cylinders - you dont need an arm like hulk hogan to bend a valve on these engines....
