And will the airbag still work? I want to change my steering wheel in my 2004 RS6 to a new RS6 wheel. Is it possible?

I dont think it would work... the new air bags are two-stage where the older air bags are single stage. Also, the controls on the wheel are can-bus II on the new cars, so i dont think you can make those work either... but the wheel itself should bolt on...

It can be done. Quite a few in the UK have carried out this mod as well as using the TTS wheel. Can't help with the technical stuff but I'm sure someone will be along shortly to advise.
