after the removal the intake temperature have dropped over 10 degrees Celsius. The car now has lower temperature and lets the temperature stay lower for longer time.

if you really logged it and can prove your words then I will do research for you, cause i will remove mine tomorrow then. So far in city drive I dont know how it can cause -10 C when the car is moving average 30 miles per hour

My test was 0-200km/h + few sprints 60-160km/h

well our streets don't allow to go 0-200 that often, + 60-160 is not what we usually do here, so I would keep fog lights and keep the look cool, unless you are racing somewhere

why im asking is that proper soft and gutted pre-cat is your friend, not a little fog light, there is a member in our forum 10secS4 (do the search), he runs 11.5 on his RS6 with soft and gutted pre-cats (rest bone stock), I havent seen any other cars around with bunch of unnessary mods (exhaust, intake, pulleys, custom smth, etc.) whatever they have, all those over 12 sec, so it means, proper tuning and car care is all you need, fog light cannot help you if you not running 11.5 in 1/4 mile, smth is wrong with your car, do this test first, then if you do, we all want to see what difference in speed removing fog lights make

high intake temperature is engine output enemy. When the temp gets high the engine moves back the ignition.

After careful examination of data in VAG-COM software I'm sure the car runs better without the fog lights.

Foglights reduce IC air intake by 40%, so removal is VERY benificial to engine performance. I'm also looking for the "delete grill" 'cause I'll NEVER need to use them (Tropics, no fog!).

The only place I've seen this before was with the Sportec Intercooler setup:
