I did a search, but clearly the manner in which I search or the words I was looking for aren't providing any results. If this has been discussed before sorry. I don't recall seeing a topic on this since I've been an owner.

Anyway, the question I simple. What item(s) do you wish were available for the RS6 C5? There are obvious ones, but perhaps there are options that are not so obvious that other manufacturers have successfully included in other cars. I know many have since modified their rides to include one or a number of these items, but I'm sure there will be at least one on the list that you don't have no matter how much you have paid on top of the already BIG $$$ price the car first commanded to own.

Here's my Top 10 wish list in order of importance:
1. 6 spd manual (no surprise there)
2. Recarro Seats w/ nicer more supple leather (applies to North America models only as all other locations have this factory if I'm not mistaken)
3. RSN Navigation system
4. MP3 Stereo OR factory link for iPod/Zune
5. Better speakers/amps (i.e. Dynaudio you see in high end Volvo or better yet B&O you see in newer Audi)
6. Steering Wheel controls for stereo (channel & volume) This wouldn't be as high on the list if the 2003/04 models had the fancy center console that the new C6 models have
7. Factory Bluebooth interface
8. Remote oil filter that makes changing oil easier
9. Factory coil over suspension (this one is only this far down the list as it fully assumes that a "working" factory suspension was included in the first place).
10. Boost Gauge (ALL forced induction cars should have one of these)

What are your Top 10 items?

I wish to clarify the intent of this post. I wanted to hear from everyone on what they think the car should have come with in the first place - not what they want to add to it. I'm sure many will feel there is no difference, but alas there is. Please keep this post to items that Audi missed the boat on with this specific car in 2003/04. Another thread with a "Top 10 Desires list" can be created for all those fancy aftermarket modifications. :)

First few did come in 04 RS6+s
1. RSNE in the first place
2. 5 spoke 19"s in the first place for us in the US
3. Stainless pedals

4. Amen on something to have made oil change easier
5. Hood vents (at least as an option somehow)
6. Agree with a comment above on extra add-ons like lip extension on front.
7. Steering wheel volume control etc.
8. Auto wipers
9. 'Comfort' blinker like on newer Audi's (just tap it for 3 blinks) ...still need to install my relay as i have the part.
10. Clear corners/tails

While i'm at it...
11. Cup holder not above controls as someone else said.
12. European seats
13. Auto dimming mirrors that you could turn off as i actually would like to be able to see clearly behind me at night to tell make of car and if there is anything on the roof (to tell if its a police car)
14. A better jack that is not so damn dangerous.
15. Full spare.
16. Boost gauge
17. Outside temperature gauge not located too close to engine so its not always 10 degrees off.
18. Parking sensors in front actually active in US cars. Rearview camera and display like in new Audis.
19. Seats that also do the cooling (i may take the extra weight penalty for that one).
20. Heated steering wheel.

Bleh, you guys like the Euro 5-spokes? Uhg. Lee.

1) Dual-clutch 6- (or 7-) speed transmission (PDK essentially). This car's too big for a stick in my opinion...even though it's probably the same size as the new A4, which is WAY too big.
2) All-in-one color nav, bluetooth, USB hard drive, mp3 audio. Just steal Nissan's system and interface.
3) A dedicated launch-control mode that max-performs the car off the line and won't trash the transmission.
4) GT-R syle telemetry readouts...instantaneous and historical...G-forces, hp/tq numbers, sprung weight, and a stopwatch.
5) TPMS to include showing PSI and temp of each tire.
6) Carbon fiber roof/hood/decklid. Painted of course, but weight is the enemy.

1) Better seats, as in the C6 - S6, S4, rs4
2) 6 or 7 speed DSG option - to improve performance and MPG
3) Suspension settings controllable from cabin - street, sport, track
4) NAV / Bluetooth
5) Audio controls on steering wheel
