Erik, have you an idea as to which kit is in the M5?
I checked the website and there appears to be one currently available and a more powerful just developed with 620PS and 610Nm. Either way, this just proves that turbo/supercharging is the way to go if you intend to tune because there is so much more potential.
Anyway, two seriously quick cars, either in stock or tuned form, though great to see the Audi always nosing ahead regardless. :hihi:

I know those guys - M5 and RS6.
RS6 Evotech with Chip and Exhaust + MTM Air-Filters -680 hp, 1/4 mile - 12.1
M5 Evotech with Chip and Exhaust - 560 hp, 1/4 mile- 12.2
The Chip on RS6 is unstable - sometimes the car is quicker than this M5, sometimes slower than M5. But eventually RS6 is faster up to 300 km/h, after it - M5 is faster...
Both of the owners are goin to upgrade their cars further, so the battle will be continued:dig:

M5 is quicker because the chip on RS6 was unstable... now as the problems solved RS6 is a little bit faster.

Apparently it's the M5 Stroker @ 620 hp. http://evotech.de/index.php?article_id=134&motorid=16&modelid=9
RS6 has 680 hp.

It's not a stroker kit.
With Stroker M5 will be much faster than this RS6 and will be on even with tuned 911 turbo or GTR from roll-on

I understand why Erik is saying it's a stroker kit, it's because that is what Evotech call it on their web site.
The question still remains, is this the 5.8L conversion or as you say just a chip + exhaust. When you consider that in the event held by M5Board showed an M5 with a similar chip + exhaust getting left by a stock RS6 it does sound strange that a tuned RS6 which is up 100hp on stock would have any problem what so ever with a similarly tuned M5. Unless it was having major problem with it's ECU.
I'm of the opinion that Erik is right and this is the 620hp M5 and not the 560hp version.

This M5 was REALLY faster than this RS6 in stock and in Stage 1. Now RS6 is Stage 2 with more agressive Chip + Exhaust+ MTM Air Filtaers and it is a little bit faster from Roll-On. From standing start RS6 is even more faster than M5...:king:

On video is not full exhaust (tak 4to ne pizdi :)))))
Now it's full exhaust and much more faster- but still unstable chip :(
