can't we do a fake launch control? Turn off ESP, hold your foot on the brake and three quarter throttle to around 3k?

Nope

I think it was Copper that posted a nice method to launch the beast for best results.

If you try to boost with the brake on.....ECU shuts you down.

And I don't think that EVO is stock. Probably closer to 400hp then 300hp.
