Its in PA,

http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail.jsp?tracktype=usedcc&searchType=21&paId=307957492&pageNumber=0&aff=aol

Thought I would go look at it. This is the first one I'm looking at or driving.

Any thing I should look out for right off the bat?

Any thing I should look out for right off the bat?

1. Service History
2. Have an PPI completed at an Audi Dealership
3. Go drive it yourself for 30-45m
4. Use everything ( radio, windows, wipers, turnsignals, etc )
5. Price a good extended warranty

Then, enjoy the drive home in your new Rs6!

Honestly, its worth what you will pay ( want to ) pay for it. If the services are all current ( read: nothing needed now or next 4-6mths ) then you are sitting fine.

I mean, if they drop it to 29,500... but it needs brakes all around, tires, svc, etc... then you are looking at the balance between what they are asking and you are paying to play catch up.

How many RED Rs6's have you seen driving around? You will most likely be it.. is there a value to that to you?

It's their asking price.. make an offer for what YOU want to pay for it and go from there.

If its what they say and it passes a PPI, I'd pay ( overpay? ) close to that for that car.

p.s. If I were in the market for a stablemate
p.s.s. Oh and double check them on any body work.. paint work, etc!

Mileage and condition are everything on this car.

One problem with mileage over 60k is the fact that the Fidelity warranty will cost you an arm and leg.

DonS just purchased his 38,000 mile RS6 from CA for less than 29k. And the services were up to date. Given the low mileage...he can purchase the Fidelity for around 3,000 dollars.

At 66k the same policy will cost you over 7,000 dollars.

You choose

Agree. Should be mid 20s. There is a good number of red ones out there (3 in chicago that i know of) if set on the color but it is not a 10K premium period. Gotta have the extended warranty and at over 5K you need to factor that in. And no you cannot own an RS6 without the warranty unless you are extra wealthy.
