Made time to get her on the Dyno this past Friday night. ( Our Audi night out to the Texas Motorplex 1/4 track was rained out )

So, we had the 10 cars that showed run a power pull then a couple 1/4 runs. This run was after replacing the failed CPS, both Div Valves with OEM, and running Chevron 105 oxy ( well 5 gal's )

Here's mine:

And what power did it put down? :D

Yellow is one unusual color for the RS6, but damn it looks good!

To the wheels:

440 whp
460 Wtq ( is that the right acronym? )

I wanted a car that would stand out... not like you will see an Rs6 around these parts often... but just in case... Imola Yellow fits the bill.

Went out to Motorsports Ranch - Cresson this past Saturday with the Corvette club for my SO's B-day present ( Signed her up for her first DE in the Lotus )

Since it rained... alot of the vettes no showed... they asked me to come out and play too...

LOL... after the first real session, everyone was in my pit area " Open the hood.. lets see what you got... " I casually opened the hood and placed my hand over the " twin turbo " on the engine covers...

LOL

Man, next time I'm through Texas, we gotta figure out a way to have you come down to Houston so I can check it out in person.

Steve,

Nice vids and sound. :thumb:

So tell us about your Revo settings? Which settings are you running.

MTM car...what did it put down? Who bought it and what happened to the air filters? Failed air filters?

Dave

Isn't that the MTM RS6 from a forum member that had quite a stable (CGT and GT3 etc) in Florida and then traded it in on S8? He wanted like $50k but it was ridden rather hard on the track. It looks the same and it was on Ebay about 3 weeks ago.

anyone, anyone? something "D" "O" "O" economics.......

Yes, yes ,and yes

It ended up selling for around 29k from a Audi dealer in FL

Lots of nice MTM upgrades and a nice set of HRE rims.

1. Setting were: 9,9,9 I was looking for everything she had :hahahehe:
2. The sound is awsome in person:music: does not keep me from talking on the cel when driving ( IF I were to do that :hihi: )
3. MTM was a little short... I think it's listed in the header of the video I linked to.
4. I could not tell you what their brand was, but when we pulled the engine cover, they were falling apart!
5. Local guy( DFW ) purchased it... I thought he was on RS6.com.. I will ask him to introduce himself if not soon. Great guy... loves the car, he and I are going to have fun at the events ....

Figure out a way to trailer your Exige down to Houston too!! Haha. That is the precise combination that I was toying with a while ago.

Nice numbers! That works out to about 560's or so at the crank? Those numbers jive with my seat-of-pants impression of Revo on 9-9-9 and race gas. :0:
Other than ECU and maybe DVs, are you stock?
What did you run in the 1/4 mi? (YouTube is blocked at work)

I like your style! 999 the only way to go.

Glad the MTM car is in good hands.

11.53 1/4 , I am excited to get it to a real 1/4 before it starts getting really hot here.

Revo flash and straight pipe from cats back.. I am stock for now.
I keep trying to make time to send the TCU in for the MTM trans flash!

Actually, I usually run the performance program +/- 1 on the boost setting.

The MTM owner is willing to work through the bugs and IMO has a platform to work with.

For him, its a driver ( like me ) so it did not have to be perfect... just perfect for him.

Now... how do we get the Rs6 group together for an annual meet somewhere in the middle.

11.53?! Congrats! I think that's the best 1/4 mi yet around here by a couple hundreths (but still the best)! What was your trap speed?

As I've said before, I think all the programs give pretty much the same power/torque, so the end result is the same. But still so glad I got the Revo w/select box. I do love the ability to change from 93 to 50/50 to full race gas (when the mood hits!), and the ability to use it on other chipped Audis.

I highly recommend getting that Hoppenmotorsports MTM TCU. The shifts are soooo much faster, and for $100, you can't go wrong!

LOL... I know, right?

Maybe we ca do a Fredricksburg meeting point. ( http://www.hill-country-visitor.com/Fredericksburg_Texas )
We could start out at the Hanger Hotel ( http://www.hangarhotel.com/ )
or one of the MANY Bed + Breakfast's
Trek down to Luckenbach for a few beers, washer tossing, music ( http://www.luckenbachtexas.com/ )
There are HOURS of roller coaster two lane roads 30m South of there. ( 336,337,55,16,39,etc )
One of the very best BBQ Joints in Texas is Leakey... Rocksprings has the Devil's Sinkhole ( http://www.devilssinkhole.org/ )

Just some random thoughts...

LOL

Steve,

I know the hill country is very nice. The problem is that for most of us...the drive down there in the heat of summer will kill even the best lizard. :-)

Honey, lets go to Texas. :argue:

Uhhhh, its nice in the hill country. :w:

Ok....I know we talked about Lake Tahoe. Your right.

:bye:

Sorry guys, Texas aint gonna happen for this good ol boy.

hahaha, let's just drive our cars into the grand canyon. And ya, I would need to get a trailer/hitch situation if we're going to brave the elements out there in TX. Maybe I'll change my tune when/if/possibly I move to Houston. Heh.
