15 years and more than 20,000 hours to build this model...
That's what I call a hobby.

Thanks for the Headsup, Erik.

I've heard of that guy, or a similar guy several times in the last few years.

Who produces scaled down models which actually are functional down to the needles and rev counter working..Although the time stated on the TV channels/Magazines were around six months for production, where as it's 15 years and 20,000 hours in the link you gave...This is with a cost of €150,000+ for each car made..what a marvel.

He also doesn't make cars which he doesn't like..so, If you gave him €200,000 to make a Robin Reliant (good car actually) and he didn't like it, he'll turn down the offer. :)

Thanks again for the link.

A movie about the 'challenge'

My GOD! Listen to the sound of his engine...and he made it himself. 125cc V12...

Maybe he can make a working scale model of the :addict: ?

Erik! That's not a challenge! That's a life time achievement

He should be given a Ferrari, just as a thank you for being so loyal to the prancing horse brand.

WOW! It'll be tough having a choice to meet this guy or meet Micheal Schumacher. I really would find it a bother if I had the choice..

Respect to this gentleman.:asian:

Did they also profit/sell the copy? Becuase that's something else to what this gentleman has done :)

Not to my knowledge. Bad behaviour by Ferrari I think.

Bad behvaiour is could well be...But it'll probally be done in the interest of protecting the brand.

Official products which can be seen as expensive are put through Ferrari's own quality tests, that's if they're ging to go on sale of course. :)
