Awsome combo-Suzuka Grey with 19" Titanium and Carbon mirrors(just they are way overpriced at 1400€ with Mwst in Germany)...

Am I the only one who can't decide which color to get? Man, so many good color combos out there. White/Suzuka looks great, but I really like dark colors too.
What color to get. The $150,000 question. Literally.

I just placed an order for suzuka grey with carbon sigma combo. I also had ordered Audi exclusive package 2 interior with palace blue and alabaster white combo.
Will be very happy to see more pics about these combos.....:cheers:

What color to get. The $150,000 question. Literally.
Not so... Choose the wheel option first. Example-with 19" Titanium look best choice are lighter colors: Ibis White, Brilliant Red, Suzuka Grey, Ice Silver and Sepang Blue from standard offer. If you want something more special choose Monza Silver or Apollo Silver. Of course, all with Carbon Sigma side blades.
If you stay with standard 5.2 FSI wheels or choose 19" in five double spoke then darker colors are more natural choice: Daytona Grey, Lava Grey or even Phantom Black from standard offer. More special: Amethyst Grey or Aventurin Blue from Exclusive offer. On all this colors Carbon Sigma side blades will look fine.
For Oxygen Silver side blades wheel choice is IMHO only to polished wheels-either five double spoke or Y ten spoke. In interior choose then Piano Black trim since Carbon Sigma wont look synergisitic IMO...

Great choice, congrats! In my opinion ALL Palace Blue leather in package 2 with ALL Alabaster White stitching is awsome looking.

Here's my current R8 V8 with the same Combo. I have the mirrors, the diffusor the rear blades and the side vents on the glass engine cover in carbon...
My R8 V10 will have exactly the same combo...:jlol:

Just another question....Does package 2 interior include alcantara roof? I also choose palace blue alcantara for the roof and steering wheel/gear knob but the dealer asked an additional price for me....:vhmmm:

No, you have to order alcantara rofliner and steering wheel/gear know via separate code. Your dealer is correct, it does cost extra price.

However it must take time to get all of them together because I still have some tuning programs for my RS2 and RS4 sedan. They are all sitting on the tuning shop's ground now.....
Will take some photos for them all or maybe together with the incoming R8..... :cheers:

On the contrary. When my normal wheels are covered with brake dust, they look like the titanium ones. I have a black/lava grey combo and it looks best when the wheels are dirty.
I'm hesitant about getting CF on the exterior. I don't want so many different colors. I'd get CF blades if I could get the rear center piece in CF, but that only come in gloss black. I think having CF pieces, black pieces front and back, and exterior color is too much variation.

There's only a few other cars that have such a nice blue...Mk4 Golf R32, 350Z, and now this. If I was ordering the R8 V10 I'd have a tough time deciding between red, white and blue!

There's only a few other cars that have such a nice blue...Mk4 Golf R32, 350Z, and now this. If I was ordering the R8 V10 I'd have a tough time deciding between red, white and blue!
I couldn't think of buying an R8 in anything other than one of the numerous shades of grey/silver also I would prefer to keep the exterior subtle and go of the whoo factor in the interior with a nice leather in some hue of red.

Actually, it is in Suzuka Grey Metallic(that pearl-metallic White with just hint of grey in it)... All R8 5.2 FSI press cars are either in Brilliant Red, Sepang Blue or Suzuka Grey. Only dealer cars will be in different colors.
Why is all shades of white THAT popular here in Europe? I can not say really. Just I was thinking about Suzuka Grey, but I will get some other color. Suzuka is way too popular currently for my taste...

Suzuka Grey is standard option for R8(both 4.2 and 5.2) from 12/2008.

M1M1 Suzukagrau Metallic is normal option color for R8. Your dealer is not telling you the truth since this Suzuka Grey is not ordered via 9996 code(Audi Exclusive color). At least, NOT in EU.
