Hello, Folks.

I just checked my RS6 by VAG-Com,

the car just gave me the error codes.

Here is the codes.

18339 - Coolant Fan Control Module(J293) Malfunction
P1931-002 Lowr Limit Exceeded - Intermittent

18080 - Coolant Fan Contol 1 : Open or short to Ground
P1672 004 - No Signal / Communication - Intermittent

Does anyone has same problem? and solution?

I Couldn't find any solution in the web.

Thanks

I had the 18339 (J293) code. Right side fan has control module integrated into fan.
Left side fan has control module separate from fan. In my case, the rubber gasket surrounding the fan was caught in the right side fan. After removing the piece of gasket, the fan works.

Right side fan = larger fan = passenger side. Right is #1 (600W), left side fan is #2 (300W). Let us know what you find out.

@audibiturbo - with the car off, check if you can rotate the fans with your hand - must rotate freely - from those faults, the main fan has burnt out - and the control module is only registering a fault cos it cant turn the fan on...
